Nest lamp

Problem

The client’s goal was to create a lamp-supporting structure, according to specific measurements, that could be easily covered with natural materials and that would evoke a real nest.

The challenge was to create a lightweight yet resilient and durable frame that could be covered with authentic woven wooden branches, ensuring both adequate camouflage and maximum brightness from the lamp.

Solution

Bonpez has combined its expertise in ring bending with the technology acquired in laser cutting sheet metal for the nest base, combining two processes in a single production process.

Wire, sheet metal, and wood guide this silent dialogue, in harmony with the surrounding greenery. The lighting highlights and exudes space, with the subtlety of someone who knows they’re venturing into a warm, intimate space.
